New Sofia Apartment in good area is paid back with approximately 15 years of renting
The recent surveys on the property market reveal that if rented out, a studio and one bedroom apartment in the good residential areas of Sofia could be paid back for a period of approximately fifteen years. The sum for the rent depends mainly on the location of the apartment, followed by its size and level of luxury. The greatest demand is for renting middle-sized apartments with good location and excellent infrastructure, close to the major landmarks in Sofia and the zones with regular public transport. The market of Sofia rentals of two bedroom and three bedroom apartments is also well developed, as there is a significant number of young professionals who visit the country with their families working for two and three years before handing over their jobs to move to another country.
The market status shows also that the rent is expected to go slowly up in the next twelve months with peak in September, before that stabilize. This tendency is also valid for the price of the properties, which have gone up with fifteen percent during the first three months of the year. Currently Bulgaria ranks sixth worldwide in real estate investments.
