Small-sized apartments in Sofia with reduced prices
Studios and apartments with one bedroom in the prestige areas in the capital have reduced prices with approximately 15% for the last year, while the signed deals were concluded only for finished apartments in good condition. Meanwhile, the rental prices on these properties in the capital were also reduced and many people who were interested in living in downtown Sofia have already moved into new lodgings at prices that were impossible to be reached before. A drastic fall in prices for the sale and rental of small apartments in Sofia has been seen in such prestigious neighborhoods like “Iztok”, followed by “Lozenets” and also by the center.
The offers of small apartments in the prestige neighborhoods of Sofia are many. Most proposals come from the city center, the neighborhoods “Borovo” and “Lozenets”, followed by offers in “Iztok”, which is valid for sales and for rentals as well. Since the beginning of the year, the sale prices per square meter of apartments in Sofia with two bedrooms are higher than those with one bedroom and the studio apartments. In some places the difference is insignificant, but discrepancies exist in many of the good neighborhoods in the capital.
Due to the facts stated above, the reduced prices and the situation of the property market in general, buyers who ultimately decided to invest rethink their attitude and decide to buy slightly larger apartments, having in mind the dramatic decline in property prices over the last two years which at certain places reaches thirty percent. Currently, the selling prices of apartments in the good neighborhoods of the capital Sofia are rarely exceeding one thousand euros per square meter.
