Sofia rentals favorable for the tenants
Currently, the Sofia rental is very profitable and favorable, as the rental levels have went down with approximately 30 % of their value during the first three months of the year. The main reason for that is the growing number of available Sofia apartments and the improved living conditions in these Sofia apartment units. Most of these Sofia properties have been bought for investment purposes with the aim to bring some profit. They are concentrated in neighborhoods such as the Students Town and Lozenets.
At the end of year 2009, the Sofia apartments in the luxury segment were offered at 700 E/month on the average, while now in year 2010 the Sofia deluxe properties for rent can be found for 450 Euros per month. The highest demand is for Sofia rental apartments with two bedrooms within the rental price of 350 to 500 Euros per month. These apartments are usually rented by Bulgarians who come from abroad and by foreigners who come to work in Sofia for a few months.
