The Sofia property market busy at the beginning of the year
Sofia city started year 2011 with a dynamic property market, as the number of the apartment deals seriously increased. It was estimated that the number of the signed contracts in January this year was twice as much compared to the deals signed last January. Actually, it turned out that the beginning of the year was one of the strongest periods for the Sofia property market in more than two years.

The buyers’ interest was in one-bedroom apartments at a price below 50 000 Euros, and two-bedroom apartments at the price around 75 000 Euros. There were also deals signed in the luxury segment of Sofia properties, where the price was in the vast range 100-300 000 Euros. The real estate agencies made prognosis that the prices of Sofia apartments have decreased significantly and that process is coming to its natural end. Because of that many buyers have finally decided that this is the right time for them to buy an apartment in Sofia.

Since the capital is one of the few places where one could find a solid and well-paid job, the prognosis is that people will continue to come in Sofia. This will keep the real estate market busy and there will always be people who want to buy a first home in the capital or to move to a bigger apartment in the same of better neighbourhood of Sofia city.
