The property market will revive after one year
The revival of the property market in Europe will affect positively the apartments market in Bulgaria and Sofia in particular. The market experts say that there are already good signs that the market is recovering, though the entire process will take quite some time. It is believed that the Bulgarian commercial property market is more attractive for stable foreign investments and for this reason towards Sofia are directed more serious investors looking for security, who want to buy ready-built or promising projects. Another advantage of Bulgaria is that some companies prefer to open offices here to manage their businesses from neighboring countries or by using virtual offices.

After the reported drop of 80% during year 2009 in the number of deals with off-plan properties, the analysts expect that trend to intensify in the next two years. As a proof of that, could be used the tendency that in year 2010 the trend is to seek properties with Certificate for usage. In the past it was fashionable to buy off-plan Sofia apartments due to their increasing price, today the buyer relies on security. This trend is expected to keep stable in the next couple of years. At the same time, the prices in residential districts such as Lozenets and Iztok keep their prices are are in the price segment of 1200 – 1500 E/sq.m
