The Bulgarian capital is ready to become the next most desired European city break destination. It has all the preconditions for become such due to several much important reasons which include the increasing number of flights to Sofia from various destinations and large transport hubs; the rich accommodation base diverse in style, luxury, location and price; the numerous cultural and historical sights, and of course the vibrant nightlife.
The rental market in Sofia is feverish like every autumn season. This year however there is a change in the manner of the closing of these deals.
In answer to the expectations of the experts, the beginning of September brought stirring in the rental market. Those who are looking to rent apartment in Sofia could be divided into two groups, students and young people who have graduated in other cities or abroad and are now starting a new job in the Bulgarian capital.
The Sofia rentals with the highest increase are those renovated and sometimes furnished apartments that are set close to the university buildings, the Students' Town, Mladost, Darvenitsa and Dianabad, as well as the areas close to the business parks and administrative buildings.
The apartments that are in demand are the studios and the one-bedroom apartments, however sometimes group of friends also rent the two-bedroom apartments and share the bills.
