La Bottega: Italian restaurants & shops in Sofia city

La Bottega is one of those places that we from StaySofia wanted to keep for ourselves until we realized it will not be fair to you. Placed literally only 2 min away from our office, on 31 Han Asparuh Str., is positioned one of the places from this Italian chain of restaurants – La Bottega Centro. The other two restaurants are La Bottega Prima on 6 Milin kamuk Str. and La Bottega all' Angolo on 58 Gladstone Str. Another restaurant from the chain is already open and is located on 24 Tsar Ivan Shishman Str. – La Bottega Due piani.

The name of the restaurants come from Sisily where bottega means a small place that works as a food shop and a dining place all at ones. Thus, in all La Bottega places in Sofia city you can buy various Italian products that are available only there and you can also try the freshly cooked hot meal at lunch or dine with pizza, pasta or Sicilian barbecue meals in the evening. The menu is very rich, serving antipastu and fresh homemade pasta, thin pizzas and focaccia, as well as homemade desserts.

In La Bottega restaurants one can buy the famous Sicilian ceramics items, produced by Tipìchita ceramiche in Kanikati, the island of Sicily. The restaurants work Monday through Friday from 8.30 am, on Saturday they open at 10.30 am and on Sundays – at 11 am. Every day of the week the restaurants La Bottega close at 10.30 pm.
