Sofia International Film Festival

In the period between 7th and 24th March this year the city of Sofia will host its annual International Film Festival. Organized for seventeen years in a row, this is the main film festival in our country. This year however, the festival will offer an additional program in other big cities of Bulgaria such as Plovdiv, Varna and Bourgas. Even so, the main events will be concentrated in the capital Sofia. The festival will be attended by distinguished guests, will present a rich film program and will grant its annual movie awards.

For yet another year, Sofia International Film Festival will be organized by Art Fest with the assistance of Sofia Municipality and in partnership with the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture, the National Film Center, the National Palace of Culture and the Bulgarian National Television, as well as with various international cultural institutes. The movies in the program will be shown in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture, and cinema centers Lumiere (1, Bulgaria Sq.), Odeon (1 Patriarh Evtimii Blvd.), Cinema House (37 Ekzarh Yossif Str.), Euro Cinema (17 Al. Stamboliiski Blvd.) and Cinema City (101, Alexander Stamboliyski Blvd.)  Tickets in advance could be purchased online at Tixgate.
